Ibuki Keita là một lập trình viên tự do đang có nhiều khó khăn đã tình
cờ gặp được một Mototsumitama tên Kuro. Cậu đã đưa Kuro bữa ăn tối của
mình và cố bảo vệ cô khi cô bị tấn công trong 1 bụi rậm bởi một
Mototsumitama bí ẩn. Keita bị mất cánh tay trái trong cuộc chiến nhưng
Kuro đã cứu mạng Keita bằng cách đưa cánh tay mình cho cậu vì Kuro có
khả năng tự chữa lành vết thương. Điều này đã tạo nên một khế ước giữa
hai người và tăng thêm sức mạnh cho Kuro, tuy nhiên cả hai phải luôn ở
cạnh nhau để đạt được sức mạnh tối đa.
